“I wanted something really beautiful and unique for my wedding, beyond the dress, the flowers, the venue, the catering. I had seen Angela's beautiful henna/mehndi work and I knew that was what I wanted, for both sides of my hands, and my feet. I booked her, and made the time to prepare fully, as it was a fairly lengthy process for as much art as I was getting. My sister, the bridesmaid, also chose a wonderful design. We made an evening of it. Angela's steady hand created gorgeous, flawless, traditional henna art, wrapped it up for us and gave us instructions on how to help the color deepen and last as long as possible. Her high-quality, custom made henna smelled nice and cooled the skin on that summer evening.
The color deepened beautifully, just as Angela said it would. I wore it proudly for my wedding and for more than a week afterwards. I am still delighted, years later, at how lovely and unique it was.”
